The Bar

The chimes around his neck clang together as he hits his glass down on the wooden tabel.
"You should have just said so in the first place," he exclaimed with a smile on his face.  "Didn't have to be so abtract about it!  Of course I will help!"
Her eyes widened, "Really?  It's ok?"
"Well of course.  I would have to ask the other three at the shrine about it, but I doubt they will give much opposition."  He pours himself another glass of the bright blue liquid, "but he would have to pull his own weight, of course."
"But it is pretty rare for you to do a favor for a human and come all the way into the village, and a transfer human at that!  Who would have thought?" He chuckles to himself  before sipping on his drink.
"I-it's just I wanted to help is all... I don't get to help people much," her voice started to trail off, "so I thought the least I could do was help him after what he did for me."
"It's true that there hasn't been someone like him in a while," he sighs and crosses his arms, "even after the trouble with the last transfer, everyone's childish attitudes towards him and bad impressions even before they met him, he has still kept his smile... for the most part."  He takes a deep gulp of his drink again and then softly places it down.  "I hope he is doing well."
She smiles and looks around.  After noticing no one was near she says: "last I heard they where looking for a Grimoire."
He coughs loudly and then laughs heartilly, "well the best of luck to them."

After more disscussion, they both stood up and bowed to each other.
"I will look forward to seeing you again soon, Cara.  Leave those three bafoons to me, you go and see what you can do with helping him find his item."  He winks.
"I will not be gone too long," she smiles, "I'm counting on you, Soro.  Thanks."
He sits back down and continues to drink his blue liquid as she exits the bar quickly, where she meets her assistant outside.  After both nodding to the other, they spread their hawk-like wings and take off into the night.
